As a Software Tester, your main responsibilities will include:
- Developing and executing test cases.
- Maintaining documentation on test results.
- Participating in product design reviews.
- Ensuring that all software products meet the highest quality standards.
- Execute manual test cases across web, mobile, and backend applications
- Identify, record, and document bugs and enhancements using issue-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
- Perform exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and hidden defects.
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
A successful Software Tester should have:
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
- Knowledge of software testing methodologies and processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
