A leading company is seeking a Network Engineer Manager to oversee the design, implementation, and security of their network infrastructure. This role requires strong technical expertise and leadership, focusing on enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring compliance with regulations. Candidates should possess relevant degrees and at least three years of experience in a similar role, along with skills in project management and communication.
The Network Engineer Manager is responsible for leading the network engineering team and ensuring the design, implementation, maintenance, and security of the organization's network infrastructure. This role combines strong technical expertise with leadership and project management to support the organization’s business operations and growth.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in informatics engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related Engineering discipline
Having Certificate CCNA Routing Switching is an advantage
Having knowledge in TCP/IP, internet and networking
Having knowledge and familiar with Cisco Products
Having good knowledge in various IT technologies (server, external storage, various operating system and application, collaboration, etcetera) is an advantage
Having minimum 3 years’ experience in the same field
Having good communication skill & good attitude
Key Responsibilities
Lead Network Architecture & Design : Develop and maintain scalable and secure LAN/WAN, VPN, cloud networking, and hybrid infrastructures.
Network Operations & Performance : Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware and software (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers). Ensure network uptime, monitor performance, and resolve bottlenecks and outages.
Security & Compliance : Implement network security policies, monitor threats, and respond to incidents.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations (ISO, GDPR, etc.).
Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with IT, DevOps, Security, and business units to align network solutions with organizational needs.
Vendor & Budget Management : Manage relationships with ISPs, equipment vendors, and third-party service providers. Oversee network infrastructure budget and procurement planning.
Documentation & Reporting : Maintain detailed documentation including network diagrams, SOPs, incident logs, and performance reports. Provide reports to senior management regarding network health and strategic initiatives.
Technology Innovation : Stay up-to-date with emerging networking technologies. Propose and lead initiatives such as SD-WAN, network automation, zero-trust architecture, or IPv6 migration.
