- Provide one-to-one support to students with SEND
- Adapting to learners needs according to their choice of study
- Manage and respond to behavioural episodes calmly and effectively
- Assist in the physical movement of students around the site if required
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff according to their EHCP plan
- Promoting independence, confidence, and positive behaviour.
- Maintain detailed progress reports of your students

- A teaching assistant qualification ( not essential )
- Experience supporting with learning difficulties or disabilities
- Previous experience working with 16-19-year-olds in an educational, support or youth worker setting

- A current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one
