Job description
Overview

Make a difference by supporting people to live their life their way. In this role, you will provide daytime support that helps people make the most of each day. You will support three ladies, encouraging them to enjoy hobbies, try new activities, and build confidence.

Responsibilities
  • Take time to understand what a great day means to the person you support.
  • Adjust your approach to meet people’s needs and build on both their strengths and your own.
  • Help build a supportive environment that encourages everyone to thrive and gives them the freedom to live their life their way.
  • Work between 7am and 10pm, with a mix of longer days and shorter shifts, and be available every other weekend.
  • Support transport using a full UK driving licence and a car, and be comfortable driving mobility vehicles to ensure everyone can get out and about.
  • Communicate openly, build trust, and deliver the most effective and adaptable support possible.
Qualifications
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Access to a car due to remote location.
  • Ability to drive mobility vehicles.
  • Patience, encouragement, willingness to get involved, and open to new experiences together.
  • Enhanced DBS check required.
  • Training Provided: Full training provided and an opportunity to complete an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care.
