A fast-growing company with a long history of training and developing people in both entry level and managerial roles, Edmundson are now seeking to continue their success by adding entry level talent into their team in Knutsford.
The Role
As a Graduate Systems Trainee your role will aim to understand the how technology supports and works in partnership with the business. You will be involved in the implementation and testing of current and new technologies within the organisation.
These positions will focus on the systems either in business applications, security or technical infrastructure. Systems & Procedures impacts every employee in the business, giving you contact with anyone from Warehouse Operatives to C Level contacts and everyone in between. Alongside your full time role, you will gain industry recognised training: Including BCS - The Chartered Institute for IT or Prince2 Qualifications in Project Management.
You will liaise with other departments and trading locations across Edmundson Electrical businesses as a whole and must feel comfortable speaking with a variety of people, querying things that may not appear correct and implementing new procedures as and when needed.
Although you will have specific duties, Edmundson are looking for candidates that are happy to help in any area that is needed, being a team player and chipping in as and when you can! The more you are willing to get involved in things you may be unsure of, the more you will be likely to learn!
Progression into Systems, Business or Technical Analyst positions, and then potentially Team Leader is available with this role.
