Remote Lead Project Engineer - Design and Delivery
Job summary
A leading energy solutions company is seeking a Lead Project Engineer / Project Manager to coordinate engineering teams and manage project budgets. This hybrid role requires 5 years of experience in the electricity supply industry and an HNC / HND in electrical engineering. Ideal candidates will have strong analytical skills and commercial acumen. The position is based in Edinburgh with flexible remote work arrangements.
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in the electricity supply industry.
- Knowledge of transmission or distribution practices (400kV to 11kV).
- Understanding of Distribution Network Operator standards and drawing practices.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the design team across all disciplines.
- Liaise with project management on engineering budgets.
- Manage the programme and interface with planning engineers.
- Provide forecasts for completion and resource planning.
- Approve documentation in accordance with contractual requirements.
- Coordinate design reviews and hazard reviews.
