CAREER OPPORTUNITY – REDDITCH BASED, RESIDENTIAL GROUNDWORKS CONTRACTOR LOOKING TO ADD A BUYER / SENIOR BUYER TO THEIR EXPANDING TEAM, VERY BUSY WITH UPCOMMING PROJECTS.

Duties

• Source and procure construction materials, equipment, and services required for projects.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with vendors to achieve cost-effective deals.
• Monitor and analyse market trends to anticipate changes in material costs and availability.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and timelines.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations.
• Manage inventory levels and logistics to optimize efficiency and minimise project delays.
• Evaluate supplier performance and implement corrective actions when necessary.

Requirements
