Fantastic opportunity with an independent chartered commercial insurance brokerage in the Leeds area. They are conveniently located, have plenty of parking and work on a 3 days in, 2 days from home basis. This client is experiencing an exciting period of growth, making it a really great time to join.

In this role, you will be joining an excellent team, supporting a number of Account Executives based all over the UK, dealing predominately with mid-market clients, from £15k GWP into the £100k’s, there will be occasional SME clients, but, the majority will be dealt with by the SME team.

You will be assisting with new business submissions, compiling reports, making amendments to existing policies, marketing and negotiating renewals etc. There will be daily communication with insurers, clients and the Account Executive’s.

Ideal applicants will have at least two years previous commercial broking experience, with a good all round knowledge of most classes of commercial insurance, progress towards CII qualifications would be beneficial and will be fully supported both financially and in terms of study support.

Previous use of Acturis system would be beneficial, although not essential as full system training can be provided.
