A leading software house specializing in solutions for engineering and manufacturing industries has an immediate requirement for a Software Implementation and Training Consultant based in Preston, Lancashire.

Key Skills: software implementation, training, consultancy, SQL, IT, project management, manufacturing.

This is a new role, and the client is keen to find someone with a proven track record in software implementation and training, ideally within a manufacturing environment. Manufacturing experience is ESSENTIAL.

Responsibilities include:

• Full involvement from kick-off to go-live.
• Determining project scope, deliverables, and timelines.
• Training software administrators, trainers, and end-users.
• IT infrastructure and SQL server knowledge.
• Travel within the UK and Europe; occasional further travel may be required.

Candidate requirements:

• Background in manufacturing.
• Experience in IT implementation.
• Strong project management skills.
• Availability beyond normal hours when necessary.
• Good presentation and communication skills.
• Excellent IT and problem-solving skills.

This role involves significant travel and occasional overnight stays.
