Independently owned family business that manufacturers top quality products, and supplies UK supermarkets, are looking for a Customer Supply Chain Manager.

As Customer Supply Chain Manager for an independently owned family business that manufacturers top quality food products you will report into the Head of Operational Planning.

Due to business growth and the need to extend the planning team, my client is now seeking a Supply Chain/Planning professional who has worked in a food / FMCG manufacturing business. You’ll need experience in analysing data, tracking customer forecasts, and working with commercial, production, warehouse and finance teams.

This role will suit a Supply Chain/Planning professional who has worked for a manufacturing business and knows how to translate/analyse sales data into production plans.

The business that I am representing are masters at creating the perfect combination of taste, texture, aroma and appearance, they produce in volume and finish products by hand. They’re one of the fastest growing food businesses in the UK who deliver great product development and exceptional customer service.

Day-to-day you’ll execute planning requirements in line with the business needs whilst championing supply chain relations for the business to all customers. You’ll work with the commercial, production, warehouse and finance teams to ensure that all products are managed appropriately and in a timely manner. You’ll also review and create reports on customer forecasts and ordering patterns for all year-round lines and seasonal lines.

To qualify for consideration will need…

  • Appropriate experience in the Supply Chain/Planning in a FMCG manufacturing business
  • In depth knowledge of factory working and factory material requirements
  • The ability to work under pressure, meet targets, and deadlines
  • Good organisation skills and the ability to communicate effectively as part of a team and with customers
  • Microsoft Excel, Word, and internet tools knowledge
  • Power BI and or another demand planning system experience would be advantageous
