Overview
Position: Mechanical Field Service Engineer Location: Ideally based West Midlands Salary: £40k basic (OTE £55k-£59k) + Car + Fuel Card The Company/ Sector: Machine Tools
Responsibilities
To carry out the installation, service and repair of 5 axis machine tools.
To travel throughout the UK and on occasion Europe.
Be able to fault find, diagnose and correct errors seen on large 5 axis CNC Milling Machine tools. (Capital equipment)
To be able to assemble, set-up and dismantle hydraulic, pneumatic and large mechanical assembles.
Requirements
Preferably be time served.
Able to work on their own initiative with good communication skills
To have worked previously for either a Machine tool builder or the maintenance side of the industry.
To have previously worked in a service environment and used to working away from home for periods of time.
