Investment Banking Analyst jobs in Italy

Our client, a boutique investment bank is seeking driven and detail-oriented Investment Banking (M&A) Analysts to join their growing team. This role provides the opportunity to work on landmark deals in the TMT space.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Deal Execution: Assist in the execution of M&A transactions, including valuation analysis, due diligence, and preparation of transaction materials.
2. Financial Modelling: Build and maintain detailed financial models to support valuation, forecasting, and scenario analysis for potential transactions.
3. Research and Analysis: Conduct comprehensive industry and company research to identify market trends and strategic opportunities in the TMT sector.
4. Presentation Development: Prepare and deliver high-quality presentations and pitch materials for client meetings and new business development.
5. Client Interaction: Support senior bankers in maintaining and developing client relationships by delivering timely insights and exceptional service.

Qualifications:

1. Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field. Strong academic performance is essential.
2. Experience: 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or a related field. Prior experience in Telco and Digital Infrastructure is essential.
3. Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with valuation techniques, including DCF, comparable companies, and precedent transactions.
4. Soft Skills: Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
