Qualifications

  • Experience in the Fire & Security Systems industry is preferred.
  • Experience with Reactive Calls and Small Works.

Responsibilities

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Engineer to work as a member of the Mitie Fire & Security Systems Operations Field service team. You will ensure effective delivery of PPM, reactive calls and additional Small Works, ensuring compliance with all Legal and Regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out routine servicing, testing, inspection, repairs, and installation of Fire Extinguishers and associated equipment and products to relevant legislative and qualitative standards.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation and records in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Participate in service testing and inspection to relevant standards/codes, including fault-finding techniques.
  • Carry out PPM, reactive calls and Small Works in the Fire & Security Systems industry.
  • Attend and actively participate in company-initiated training to maintain up-to-date knowledge of technical aspects of the role.
  • Ensure all work is performed to high levels of Health and Safety requirements.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Experience with PPM, Accident Reporting, or RAMS, and familiarity with Health and Safety Legislation, preferably in engineering.
  • Excellent communication skills and basic literacy in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to share technical and problem-solving knowledge with colleagues, take initiative, and work with little supervision.
