Due to ongoing international growth, ROVOP Inc. offers exciting opportunities for ROV Senior Pilot Technicians at all levels to join us on a permanent basis. We have multiple global projects extending into 2024 and beyond, with dedicated schedules.

Key duties include:

• Adhering to safe working practices and industry standards.
• Effective communication with team members, clients, and management.
• Participating in risk assessments and toolbox talks.
• Following company policies and procedures.
• Assisting in problem-solving and project management.
• Completing all pre- and post-dive checks.
• Conducting launch and recovery operations as instructed.
• Performing fault-finding tasks independently.
• Maintaining communication during launch and recovery.
• Completing relevant documentation and ensuring operational scope is covered.
• Ensuring navigational aids are operational.
• Carrying out maintenance tasks.
• Understanding and applying ROV manuals.
• Mentoring trainees as needed.
• Updating system inventories.
• Piloting ROVs independently in various conditions.
• Performing navigation and logging duties.
• Submitting technical reports after offshore cycles.
• Learning new technical and operational skills.
• Integrating and fault-finding third-party tooling and sensors.
• Supervising teams if required.

Candidates should have experience with systems such as Triton XLX/XLS, Seaeye Panther/Cougar/Tiger, or Sub-Atlantic Comanche/Mohican. Valid competence certificates (IMCA guidelines), BOSIET, offshore medical, and preferably GWO are required. Additional qualifications like HV certification, a second passport, and seaman’s certification are advantageous.
