As well as completing joint visits with therapists the post holder will be expected to undertake independent visits to implement exercise programmes, complete mobility practice, self‑care practice, provide, fit and check equipment as requested by the therapist.

At present the service is provided 5 days a week (Monday to Friday) with no requirement to work weekends or bank holidays. The post does require successful candidates to be able to travel independently within the local community to visit patients at home.
