A leading engineering consultancy in Manchester is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager. You will lead small to medium projects in sectors such as Highways and Rail. The ideal candidate has a relevant degree, Project Management qualifications, and a proven track record in managing engineering design projects. This role requires excellent communication and organization skills along with the ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
We are currently hiring for an experienced, Senior Project Manager in our Manchester office
Based in our Manchester Office you will lead and support our design teams delivering projects including but not limited to Highways, Rail Infrastructure, Ecology and Environment, and Building sectors.
As part of the day-to-day role you will manage medium projects or several small projects and support the Principal and Associate Project Managers on larger projects with complex features. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the effective delivery of technical outputs/ services across a range of projects to programme, cost and quality. This will be an exciting and challenging role, suited to a self-motivated, organised and collaborative team player.
You will already have experience undertaking the Project Manager role on small to medium projects, with existing experience of undertaking the commercial and contractual role of the Project Manager in line with NEC contracts or similar. You must have experience of reading and interrogating programmes, management of resource, forecasting and risk identification and mitigation.
You will ideally hold a formal project management qualification.
