CountyVet Group is seeking a Senior Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly and supportive team. All clinical interests are welcome. About us: Located in Newcastle-under-Lyme, near the town center, our caseload allows our team to develop skills. The team at Friarswood has varied expertise, with visiting specialists to support in-house growth and talent development, ensuring continuity of care and client satisfaction.

As part of CVS, a leading veterinary group with 500 practices across the UK and Australia, we focus on providing excellent clinical care and a supportive work environment. Our professionals have the freedom to make clinical decisions and share best practices.

Our facilities include laparoscopic kits, digital x-ray, dental x-ray, and other advanced equipment, supported by an experienced nursing team. We also have team members working towards their certificates in medicine and dentistry, providing further support and expertise.

We value people development and are happy to support interests in surgical certificates or other specializations. We are supported by an OOH provider, with no Sunday or Bank Holiday work required.

Rota and working options: Our current vacancy is full-time, but part-time and fixed-term options are available. We typically work four days a week, with Saturday mornings rota'd. There is also an option to work between our Sandbach and Alsager practices for variety.
