Project Systems Manager - Infrastructure

Location - Cheltenham

What you will be doing:

We're looking for a Project Systems Manager to lead Information Management (IM) on a major scheme, including overseeing the IM team and establishing the project's Common Data Environment (CDE) and core systems. You'll ensure compliance with client IM and BIM requirements, implement information protocols and controls, and manage project data using Viewpoint and Field View in line with GT's BMS and contract standards.

  • Lead the Information Management (IM) team to ensure accurate, timely control and distribution of project data across Common Data Environments (CDEs).
  • Act as the main liaison with the client's IM team, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
  • Manage and support delivery of IM outputs, including tracking BMS and client deliverables.
  • Implement and assure compliance with Information Management requirements in line with EIR and BEP.
  • Coordinate with Central Support to ensure project setup aligns with company BMS standards.
  • Maintain traceable change control and ensure information is managed in accordance with company systems.
  • Enforce IM protocols and drive compliance across the project lifecycle.
  • Foster strong working relationships with project teams, clients, and the supply chain.
  • Provide training, support, and issue resolution for internal and external system users.
  • Produce clear reporting on system usage, document status, and handover deliverables, while contributing to continuous improvement.

About you:

  • Detailed knowledge of Information Management principles, ISO19650 standard and BIM principles.
  • Be able to take client EIR and BEP requirements and implement them at project level.
  • Ability to understand the Document Control process at operational level is vital.
  • Ability to gain the knowledge and understanding of all the technical configuration within the systems and an in-depth knowledge of the design process to support the design management team.
  • Relevant degree and/or experience of working in information management or related field.
