Job summary
A recruitment agency is seeking PDI Operatives in Stallingborough. The role involves outdoor work, focusing on pre-delivery inspections and quality checks. Hours are Monday to Friday, 6am to 2:30pm, with a training rate of £12.41 per hour, increasing to £12.72 upon training completion. A full clean UK driving license and personal vehicle are required.
Qualifications
- Must pay attention to detail in vehicle inspections.
- Basic proficiency with computers is essential.
- Possess a full clean UK driving license to handle vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Perform Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI).
- Adjust tyre pressure and install registration plates.
- Handle vehicle paperwork and confirm VIN numbers.

Manpower are currently looking to recruit PDI Operatives for one of our clients in the Stallingborough area!
The hours of work for this role are Monday - Friday 6am-2:30pm plus occasional weekends when required. The role is based outdoors, so please be prepared to work outside. The training rate is £12.41 per hour and will move to £12.72 per hour once fully trained on the role.
- Perform Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI)
- Road testing
- Adjusting tyre pressure
- Inspecting on ramps
- Installing registration plates
- Using torque wrenches
- Running diagnostic checks
- Valeting and quality checks
- Handle vehicle paperwork and confirm VIN numbers
- Report any vehicle defects
- Move vehicles safely around the port
- Maintain high vehicle presentation standards
- Follow Health & Safety rules
- Attend meetings and train staff as needed
- Detail-oriented
- Basic computer skills
- Full clean UK driving license
- No age restriction or driving experience required
- Must have your own vehicle to access the site
