This role is ideal for an electrician who wants to step into project coordination and delivery while receiving structured development into a full Project Manager role.
The company delivers a wide range of electrical and M&E upgrades, installations, and improvement projects across sites nationwide. The position offers a blend of home working, site visits, and occasional office time, making location flexible for the right candidate.
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and delivering electrical and M&E projects from initial design through to completion.
- Produce and update 2D/3D CAD drawings to support design, tendering, and installation teams.
- Work collaboratively with engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure project objectives are met.
- Support development of project documentation including RAMS, schedules, reports, and handover information.
- Assist with procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
- Monitor site progress, track variations, and support project cost control.
- Ensure health, safety, and quality standards are upheld throughout project delivery.
- Attend client meetings, site surveys, and project briefings across the UK.
- Electrical engineering background with 18th Edition qualification or equivalent experience.
- Experience within an M&E or building services environment (preferred).
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Basic knowledge of project management principles.
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and progress.
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential for site travel).
- Clear progression into Project Manager and Senior Project Manager positions.
