Regional Head of HR - EMEA

Clearwater Analytics, London, United Kingdom

Job Summary:
Clearwater Analytics is seeking a senior HR leader to oversee our EMEA region.
The EMEA HR Leader will serve as the regional voice on talent, engaging with employees and candidates alike. You will collaborate with business leaders and our global HR team to develop and implement HR strategies that enhance organizational capability and effectiveness in a dynamic business environment. This role involves managing the entire EMEA HR and recruiting teams and acting as the primary HR contact for the region to ensure effective people processes, competitive programs, positive work environments, and compliance with relevant laws.
The ideal candidate will possess strong business acumen within a high-growth tech company, demonstrate intellectual curiosity, own the outcomes of people programs, and have a deep understanding of HR best practices. We seek a self-starter with a proven track record of performance.

Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute HR strategies for the EMEA region in alignment with business goals, focusing on talent acquisition, retention, development, and engagement.
  2. Team Leadership: Lead, develop, and support the EMEA HR and Recruiting teams through guidance and coaching.
  3. HR Operations: Oversee day-to-day HR operations for the entire employee lifecycle in EMEA, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and training programs.
  4. Employee Relations: Address concerns, grievances, and conflicts, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  5. Compensation and Benefits: Collaborate with the global Total Rewards team to ensure competitive and fair rewards programs based on market insights.
  6. Compliance: Ensure adherence to all applicable labor laws and regulations across the region.
  7. Data and Insights: Partner with stakeholders and global HRBPs to analyze HR data, identify trends, and support decision-making with insights.
  8. Project Management: Manage HR projects and initiatives, ensuring their successful and timely completion.
  9. Change Management and Communication: Work with business leaders and HR to manage organizational changes and effectively communicate policies and initiatives.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 10-15+ years of HR experience across multiple disciplines, preferably in tech and high-growth environments; 5+ years managing teams.
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, policies, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced setting.
  • Certifications such as CIPD are a plus but not required.
