Division Manager, Drive Products UK
Responsible for driving the sales strategy and G2M model for sales of Drive Products within the UK OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturers) and industrial market sector, aligned with the division strategy. This includes low voltage drives, PLC & HMI offering to different types of OEMs across various segments and applications within the UK market. Deliver both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. Responsible for identifying and developing new OEM sales opportunities.
- Sales of Drive Products to OEM customers, focusing on volume, mix, and profitability targets for the local division.
- Establishes and maintains effective customer relationships to understand their needs, increases their understanding of ABB's Drive Products offering, and aligns with them to provide solutions and leverage cross-division synergies.
- Ensures a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
- Prepares OEM sales plan for the short-medium term using ABB authorized tools.
- Performs regular status reviews and proposes recovery plans in case of potential order shortfalls.
- Creates added value for the customer and ABB, ensuring successful outcomes of transactions, contracts, and proposals by using effective sales techniques.
- Communicates delivery times, payments, and terms to customers, in line with ABB’s strategy.
- Ensures efficient marketing activities, develops, and communicates value propositions to customers.
- Manages administrative procedures in sales processes and supports cash collection and project management activities when needed.
- Prepares offers in coordination with the bid and proposal department, ensuring technical and financial aspects, including prices and trading conditions, are in place.
