An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Procurement Officer to join a well-established education organisation. This role plays a key part in ensuring effective procurement, contract management, and compliance across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Procurement Support & Guidance – Provide clear and practical advice to staff managing procurement activities, ensuring adherence to internal policies and external regulations.
• Contract Management – Oversee the management of contracts across departments, ensuring contracts are up to date, compliant, and deliver value for money.
• Compliance & Risk Management – Ensure that all procurement activities align with legal and regulatory requirements, identifying risks and implementing solutions where necessary.
• Stakeholder Engagement – Work closely with internal teams to understand their procurement needs, providing strategic support and guidance to improve purchasing efficiency.
• Supplier Management – Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating terms to secure competitive pricing and service levels.
• Data Analysis & Reporting – Track procurement activities, analyse trends, and present reports to senior leadership to inform decision-making.
• Project Coordination – Support and coordinate corporate procurement projects, ensuring successful implementation and continuous improvement.
• Policy Development & Training – Contribute to the development of procurement policies and deliver training to staff on best practices and compliance requirements.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in procurement, purchasing, and contract management, with a strong understanding of best practices and regulatory requirements
• Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Ability to process, analyse, and present data to support decision-making and improve efficiency
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers
