Category Procurement Manager – Commodity Ingredients

Great Category Procurement Manager opportunity to join one of the leading branded food groups in its sector.

Focus are delighted to be working with a food business in growth. Supplying into major retailers they are considered to be category leaders. They are looking to grow their procurement function which makes this is a great career opportunity.

The are looking for an experienced Category Procurement Manager with experience in commodities and ingredients gained in the food industry. You’ll own the CRM plan and the movement of PPV v Budget for your area, inputting into the annual budget process and identifying risks and opportunities. You’ll manage two direct reports and identify, evaluate, and select best in class suppliers whilst building long-term strategic partnerships.

You will need at least five years’ experience in sourcing and commodity markets gained in the food manufacturing arena. You’ll have strong supplier management experience; a high level of understanding of Incoterms and first-class negotiation skills. People management experience is essential along with a strong understanding of global supply chains.
