Job summary
A sustainable food technology company is seeking a motivated Sales Manager to build its presence in the UK market from the ground up. The role involves developing sales strategies for products like Just Egg and Just Meat, focusing on securing retail and foodservice partnerships. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in UK retail or foodservice sales, strong commercial instincts, and existing relationships with key buyers. This remote position demands regular travel across the UK, offering a chance to significantly impact the brand's growth.
Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience in UK retail and/or foodservice sales, ideally in food/CPG.
- Existing relationships with UK buyers and distributors.
- Strong commercial instincts and results-oriented mindset.
Responsibilities
- Own and execute the UK sales strategy for Just Egg and Just Meat.
- Secure new retail listings and expand distribution.
- Build foodservice relationships across various sectors.
- Manage customer relationships from initial conversation to launch.
- Develop pricing and channel strategy based on market learnings.
