A dedicated social care organization is seeking a qualified social care worker to provide high-quality care for vision-impaired young people. The role includes ensuring safety, promoting independence, and delivering educational opportunities. Applicants must possess a relevant qualification and be registered with CORU. ChildVision is Ireland’s only dedicated national service for children and young people with a vision impairment, including those who are blind, neuro-diverse and living with complex disabilities.
Based in Drumcondra, Dublin and in Cork, ChildVision works creatively every day to make a positive difference in the lives of our young people and their families, creating nurturing, safe and supportive person centred environments where our young people thrive.
You are a highly motivated, energetic, qualified social care worker registered with CORU and dedicated to delivering a high quality, ethical, person centred residential social care service, within the context of an overarching human rights ethos.
Commencing the week of 13th October 2025.
NB: Garda vetting and full reference checks will apply in respect of successful candidates. A police clearance may also be required from any jurisdiction where the candidate has lived abroad for any period greater than 6 months.
