A leading engineering staffing provider is seeking a Product Owner for a 6-month contract in La Defense, Paris. The successful candidate will drive the product roadmap, facilitate stakeholder communication, and manage user feedback. This role requires a minimum of 5 years in a similar position, fluency in French, and a good command of English. Knowledge of SAP is a plus. The role is hybrid, requiring 3 days onsite and 2 days remote. An immediate start is available.

Required

Minimum 5 years in a similar role. Technical and digital training, preferably from an engineering school. Ability to coordinate projects and activities across multiple teams. Rigor, analytical skills, and impact assessment abilities. Strong listening, communication, and change management skills (cross‑functional management). Knowledge of purchasing processes would be an asset. Knowledge of SAP would be an asset. Current knowledge of VMS ULYSSE would be a significant advantage.

Product Manager solution responsibilities
  • Champion the overall functional vision of the solution and be the guarantor of the Product in accordance with my clients purchasing processes,
  • Develop, consolidate, and monitor the product roadmap in close collaboration with business representatives,
  • Establish and monitor the committee structure with business representatives,
  • Analyse requests and development needs (challenge and qualify requirements),
  • Submit and defend needs during the committee structure to be established with the vendor,
  • Manage approved developments, define test scenarios, and participate in their end‑to‑end execution,
  • Implement and monitor KPIs: performance, compliance with purchasing processes, and negotiated rates, etc.,
  • Facilitate communication between the various stakeholders,
  • Contribute to improving the know‑how and methodologies of the purchasing profession,
  • Stay informed about new vendor offerings and continuously strive to maximize business value for users,
  • Ensure the central administration of the solution,
  • Continue integration work with SAP system,
  • Ensure deployments in subsidiaries,
  • Proactively and consistently contact subsidiaries that have not yet deployed the solution,
  • Organize presentation and demonstration sessions for the solution,
  • Coordinate the onboarding build for new subsidiaries with the vendor.
Product Owner user centricity
  • Organize change management and adoption: monitor user training, webinars & communities, etc.
  • Measure adoption and quality KPIs
  • Integrate user feedback into the solution backlog
  • Organize level 1 and 2 support for the associated functional scope, with the goal of outsourcing part of the level 1 support to Shared Service Centers
