A leading satellite communications provider is seeking a Senior VP Sales to manage day-to-day activities and develop new revenue opportunities with existing and new customers. The ideal candidate should have a higher education qualification in business or engineering, strong communication skills, and experience in creating long-term customer relationships. What You’ll Do:
  • The Senior VP Sales is responsible for managing day‑to‑day activity and developing new revenue opportunities with existing specified customer accounts and also developing new leads and opportunities with new customers across all business lines.
  • To seek new business opportunities and to pass on information to relevant areas of the business as appropriate.
  • To maintain an up‑to‑date understanding of the marketplace and new products, to have an in‑depth understanding of service delivery and how new products can integrate to existing customer systems.
  • Nurture and develop direct trusted relationships with both new and existing customers in line with company’s long term strategic goals and commercial objectives.
  • To develop relationships within the business to ensure seamless service for customers.
  • Develop and use an understanding of local markets to position the company’s products in the most effective way to customers.
  • To provide the required level of management reporting directly to manager and via CRM. To ensure data held within is accurate and up to date.
  • To represent the Company at trade shows, conferences, exhibitions and other industry events.
  • Retain existing and develop new revenues for Eutelsat to meet individual FY sales targets (SIP) as defined and agreed with the RVP.
What You’ll Need:
  • Higher education qualification in business or engineering.
  • Technical knowledge of satcoms would be desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to speak other European languages could be advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, with proven experience in developing long term sustainable customer relationships.
  • Demonstrable experience in sales operations and closing technical complex sales solutions.
