Evaluate logistics processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement in all aspects of Distribution Center warehouse operations. Conduct thorough assessments of existing processes using a standardized and repeatable model to identify areas for improvement. Our operations have grown tremendously over the past number of years and the successful candidate will build a management system to improve UPH and UPPH of existing processes and work together with internal and external partners in standardizing processes, driving best in practice processes and managing cost. Lead Kaizen events and continuous improvement workshops to engage cross-functional teams to develop practical solutions to complex operational challenges in the 3PL environment. Develop and implement process improvement plans, utilizing Lean tools and methodologies (e.g., 5S, Value Stream Mapping, DMAIC). Collaborate with stakeholders to set measurable performance goals and track progress against process improvement goals. Develop training and coaching programs to empower employees with Lean principles and continuous improvement techniques, fostering a culture of excellence throughout the organization. Analyze data and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of process changes and identify further opportunities for enhancement. Prepare and present reports to senior management on process improvement projects to communicate findings, recommendations, and the impact of process changes. Foster a culture of continuous improvement throughout by encouraging innovative thinking and collaborative problem-solving.
