As our Stage Manager, you’ll play a mission-critical role at the heart of each production—ensuring the technical and logistical success of large-scale film music concert performances that blend live orchestra with synchronized film projection. You’ll act as a key liaison between creative, production, and technical departments, coordinating behind-the-scenes operations with clockwork precision both on tour and at fixed venues.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Advance and Prep Work
• Coordinate all stage plans, venue specs, and local crew requirements ahead of load-in.
• Analyze technical riders and adapt show logistics for each venue.
• Liaise with venue managers, local crews, and logistics partners to ensure smooth execution.
• On-Site Management
• Run rehearsals and performances with precision—calling cues, managing transitions, and ensuring every performance runs to time.
• Oversee load-in, stage setup, soundchecks, and load-out , acting as the central point of contact for production crews and talent.
• Ensure alignment of conductor, orchestra, projection, and lighting teams in a tightly synchronized workflow.
• Supervise touring crew and local staff, fostering an environment of collaboration and professionalism.
• Troubleshoot calmly and diplomatically under pressure, with an ability to respond quickly to real-time challenges.
• Post-Show Duties
• Manage show reports, logistics feedback, and incident documentation.
• Coordinate post-tour reviews and assist with continuous production improvements.

Your Background and Qualities

• Several years of experience in stage or tour management, ideally within orchestral, operatic, or large-scale theatrical contexts
• Hands-on familiarity with cueing film-to-live-performance synchronization
• Proven experience in prestigious venues across the EU and / or UK
• Strong technical fluency in stagecraft, lighting, projection, and backline needs
• Exceptional problem-solving, leadership, and interpersonal communication skills
• Composed under pressure, organized by instinct, and passionate about live performance
