Responsibility

  • Accountable for achieving sales volumes (sell-in), mix (high-end), price realization (negotiated price vs target), sell- out / inventory levels in a big market
  • Is the senior commercial contact for customers, driving credibility and building the long-term relationship with customers in the assigned area.
  • Is the voice of customer inside TP Vision, mobilizing resources where needed to achieve plan / strengthen the relationship.
  • Defines and executes the commercial and distribution strategy in conjunction with business management and the Cluster.
  • Manages the distribution- and channel mix according to the agreed criteria.
  • Responsible for creating and implementing the sales plan, incl. forecast monitoring the sales effort and performance against budget and to take corrective actions, in order to contribute to overall business plan.
  • Defines / executes mitigating actions in case of deviation from plan, and participates in Market Review Sessions.
  • Directs and motivates the sales team in order to achieve the predefined sales volume and profit goals.
  • Sets the individual targets for account management and the field team.
  • Has the authority and accountability to negotiate contracts and prices within the limits of the sales plan and sales policy
  • Manages the investment / activation plan on account level within the pre-agreed budget.
  • Business risk. Ensures the team delivers upon targets
  • Manages a team of 3 colleagues : 1 KAM Portugal and 2 KAMs Spain (Barcelona and Madrid)

Purpose Of The Position

We are looking for a Sales Manager to reinforce the position and growth in Iberia market.

The Sales Manager together with the country leader has the objective to increase the brand position into the market, increase M / S, find the business opportunities. Direct report 3 people. Defines and implements sales and distribution strategy.

Education And Related Experience

  • Bachelor in Business Administration / Marketing or has reached this level through another form of training or experience.
  • 10+ years of experience. Excellent Negotiation skills. Strong Communicator.
  • Leadership skills – also recognized externally. Conceptual skills.
  • Strong financial and logistical understanding, legal awareness. Experienced networker.
  • Sales and margin management
  • Actively takes up challenges. Develops people.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish(speaking / writing); other languages are plus
  • Experience with Mediamarkt is a plus
