As we continue to expand around the world, we are looking for critical thinkers who are data-driven, have a strong work ethic, and care about best practices and customer outcomes to help us carry out our vision.

Join Array to make a mark on our business and grow your career.

Who we need

We are seeking a Plant Manager with in-depth knowledge of supply chain management and leveraging ERP systems. You will oversee the Final Assembly and Feeding departments, including Machining, Graphics/Printing, and Vacuum Forming. By leveraging data-driven insights and optimizing workflows, you will lead continuous improvement strategies to enhance operational efficiency, resource management, safety, and overall production excellence across all facets of production.

What’s in it for you

Drive change. This is an opportunity to lead key initiatives that integrate supply chain and ERP systems, optimize production workflows, and implement lean manufacturing practices. You will have the chance to make a tangible impact on the organization by improving efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring high-quality, on-time delivery of products.

Exposure. You want to gain recognition, grow your reach, and have the opportunity to engage with senior leadership. This is an opportunity to present production performance insights to management and help drive strategic improvements. It’s a chance to work closely with diverse teams, including design, engineering, product development, and supply chain, fostering strong collaboration across the organization.

Career development. We are at the forefront of our industry, gaining new clients, scaling our operations, and leveraging the latest technology to elevate the way we do business. We are investing in the people and systems that make this growth possible, creating opportunities for a deep and rewarding career.

In this role, you will:
  • Lead supply chain and ERP integration. You will oversee the integration of supply chain management with production operations through ERP systems and shop floor controls, ensuring real-time visibility into material flows, inventory levels, and production schedules. You will collaborate with supply chain teams to forecast demand, optimize stock levels, and manage vendor relationships for efficient material procurement.
  • Leverage ERP systems. You will manage production planning and scheduling using ERP systems to optimize resource utilization and workflows. You will track performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions. You will oversee procurement, inventory control, and materials management to minimize costs, prevent stockouts, and ensure the timely availability of resources. You will ensure effective inventory management through the use of Kanban, JIT (Just-in-Time), and other lean methodologies within the ERP framework.
  • Apply quality control guidelines. You will ensure high-quality production through stringent control measures and continuous improvement of processes. You will guarantee on-time delivery of products to meet customer expectations by optimizing production schedules and workflows. You will control and reduce production costs by optimizing resource allocation, minimizing waste, and improving overall supply chain efficiency. You will enforce safety policies and conduct regular safety audits.
  • Collaborate. You will work closely with design, engineering, product development, and supply chain teams to align production activities with company objectives. You will foster strong communication between the supply chain, production, and sales teams to ensure consistent information flow and proactive problem-solving. You will regularly update senior management on production performance, supply chain challenges, and improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain a lean production environment. You will implement and sustain lean manufacturing practices, utilizing tools such as value stream mapping, SMED, and TPM to reduce lead times and optimize workflows. You will apply ERP data analysis to support lean initiatives, improve production line balancing, and reduce setup times. You will drive continuous improvement efforts through regular Gemba walks, identifying areas for operational enhancements and ERP system optimizations.
You have:
  • The experience. You are a plant supervisor or manager with extensive experience managing supply chain logistics, production planning, and scheduling with a focus on ensuring operational efficiency. You have supported and adhered to a continuous improvement strategy for advancing operational efficiency and improving resource management. You have a strong understanding of supply chain management processes, including procurement, inventory control, logistics, and materials management.
  • The technical skills. You have an engineering mindset and an understanding of the technical side of manufacturing. You appreciate the speed and efficiency new technologies can bring to plant operations, and you can quickly come up to speed with new tools. You may have exposure to leveraging ERP systems, particularly in the production planning module, to manage production scheduling, inventory control, and resource allocation.
  • The leadership skills. You have grown your career in product manufacturing and have insights into best practices, financial and business operations, and applying strategic innovation. You have experience leading projects and teams. You may have been part of integrating supply chain management with production operations in a manufacturing setting. Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification is preferred, but an understanding of how to apply these principles to a product manufacturing environment is equally valuable.
  • The interpersonal skills. You have professional written and verbal communication skills and can translate technical concepts and production workflow to non-technical audiences. You can build trusting working relationships and influence decision-makers. You are detail-oriented, committed to delivering high-quality work, and capable of inspiring the same in others.
What you can expect from the interview process:
  • A virtual interview with:
    • a Talent Advisor discussing your interest in the role, the team’s culture, and how you will make an impact as our new Plant Manager.
    • the General Manager, Manufacturing, during which you will have a chance to talk about the role and your experience.
    • the VP, Operations and Director of Continuous Improvement to focus on your strategic experience in operations management, continuous improvement, and driving efficiencies.
  • An on-site plant tour to see the manufacturing facility firsthand, engage with key stakeholders, gain insight into operational processes, and understand the vision for the team and plant operations.
