What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct detailed account reviews to validate accuracy in credit balances, denial management, and documentation compliance
- Identify recurring compliance issues and trends through monitoring activities and perform root cause analysis
- Analyze large datasets to uncover potential compliance risks across the revenue cycle
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of healthcare regulations and assess their impact on organizational processes
- Prepare and present concise summaries of monitoring outcomes to Compliance and operational leadership
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Experience auditing and monitoring credit balance resolution accuracy and claims data
- Proficiency in using systems such as EPIC, Meditech, and Cerner
- Significant knowledge of hospital Revenue Cycle processes, including patient access, billing, and collections
- Proven ability to analyze complex datasets and translate findings into actionable insights
- Strong understanding of Federal and State regulations and industry standards for healthcare
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience communicating clearly and professionally with stakeholders at all organizational levels
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for creating complex documents and reports
- Proven command of project management principles and ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
