KPMG is seeking a Senior Service Designer, GenAI Experience to join our Digital Nexus technology organization. This is a remote work opportunity.

Responsibilities :

  1. Conduct in-depth user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points, contributing to the design of research artifacts like personas, journey maps, and prioritization matrices.
  2. Advocate for user experience and lead planning and facilitation of design thinking sessions aimed at improving and designing new services and products, especially through generative AI assistants and agents.
  3. Proactively follow GenAI design trends and best practices to share and apply within the team and across projects.
  4. Develop end-to-end service blueprints, journey maps, and customer experience maps to visualize the user experience and align technology, data, and business processes for seamless services.
  5. Translate requirements, user stories, and business processes into optimized flows across platforms; design wireframes with usability best practices, creating high-fidelity prototypes for testing and iteration.
  6. Lead development and use of Design Systems and a library of reusable assets across applications, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum five years of experience in user research, service design, product design, UX, and UI; strong understanding of service design principles and methodologies.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch; knowledge of generative AI technologies and their applications.
  • Experience leading UX workstreams and junior designers within larger projects; experience in an Agile environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; critical thinking and problem-solving abilities; passion for creating innovative, user-centric experiences.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer-sponsored visa now or in the future; no sponsorship available.
