Summary:

We are looking for a Project Coordinator to join our dynamic Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) team. Reporting to the PLM Project Manager, this role will support the successful execution of new product launches, product renovations, and lifecycle management, ensuring our projects stay on track and meet business goals. As a Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day management of product development projects across the lifecycle. You will work closely with the PLM Project Manager and cross-functional teams to ensure that project tasks are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with the business objectives. You will be an integral part of the team, helping to organize, track, and report on project activities to support the flawless execution of product launches and lifecycle transitions.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Project Support: Provide day-to-day support for product development and lifecycle management projects, assisting with scheduling, tracking, and coordinating tasks to ensure timely execution.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate project documentation, ensuring all project details, timelines, and deliverables are properly recorded and accessible for team members and stakeholders.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams (R&D, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, QA) to ensure smooth communication and timely execution of project tasks. Facilitate meetings and follow-ups as needed.
  • Timeline Tracking: Assist in the development and monitoring of project timelines, ensuring that key milestones are met, and project tasks are completed on schedule. Highlight any potential delays and escalate issues as appropriate.
  • Inventory & Materials Management: Support the tracking of inventory levels and assist in managing new materials and ingredient quantities during product launches and transitions. Help mitigate any risks related to excess inventory or shortages.
  • Project Reporting: Prepare and update progress reports for the PLM Project Manager and senior leadership, tracking key milestones, deliverables, and any risks that may impact the project’s success.
  • Risk Management: Assist in identifying potential risks and issues that could impact the product lifecycle. Help with the development of contingency plans and support the implementation of corrective actions.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all necessary product lifecycle documentation is up to date and compliant with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
  • First Production Support: Assist with the coordination of first production runs, providing on-site support and ensuring smooth execution during the initial launch phase.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes by identifying opportunities for better efficiency, communication, and coordination.

About You:

  • Post-secondary education in Business or a relevant field.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify issues early and take proactive steps to address them.
  • Basic knowledge of product development or lifecycle management processes is a plus.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, with a working knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Positive attitude and a results-oriented mindset.
