We are seeking an incredibly organized and efficient Inventory Control Planner to join the PaperWorks team. In this remote, home-based role, you will be responsible for the planning and purchasing of raw materials for our network of folding carton facilities. You will work closely with internal and external business partners to drive fulfillment goals and business needs and make meaningful contributions to our business success by being responsible for the planning and management of finished goods based on supplied forecasts and company goals.

Responsibilities
How you will impact PaperWorks :
- Manage and maintain finished goods and raw materials stocking levels in accordance with facility targets. Analyze inventory levels and product demands to ensure product availability and minimize inventory costs.
- Analyze SKU level forecasts and plan production orders to support demand. Participate in the S&OP process by confirming the demand plan and briefing the supply plan during the normal S&OP cycle.
- Communicate requirements as required to meet forecasted sales and seasonal build-ups. Liaison with other departments on changes, adjustments, and special orders.
- Provide sales team support to help maintain customer relationships, participating in relevant calls / meetings with customer / sales / customer service etc. as needed.
- Forecast supply vulnerabilities and implement plans to ensure continuity of supply. Execute plans to assure continuous supply of quality goods and services and create plans to combat market changes and challenges.
- Collaborate regularly with Customer Service to capture updates from customers not reflected on forecast that could impact planning.
- Provide support to LEAN manufacturing culture operations to ensure products are manufactured to meet quality, reliability, and cost requirements.
- Maintain and promote high standards of safety, customer service, quality parameters, on-time production goals, and customer on time delivery.
Qualifications
What you will need to succeed :
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain or related field, or compensatory work experience in a Supply Chain function that includes purchasing, supply, and inventory planning. Folding carton experience is a plus.
- Experience with ERP systems and other relevant software tools used in supply chain management. Familiarity with AVP and / or CCH is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret data, analyze trends, and make informed decisions. Solid Excel skills and an ability to analyze and use critical thinking skills on a regular basis.
- Demonstrated ability in taking ownership and initiative of responsibilities and executing them to meet business needs and deliverables.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize effectively, and show strong organizational skills in a fast-paced business environment while maintaining attention to detail is critical.
- Strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills to build relationships and effectively communicate with team members company wide.
