Job Title: Assistant Manager - Retail

Job Description: The Assistant Manager is responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations, including staff management, customer service, and administrative duties. The role involves ensuring excellent guest experiences, managing schedules, and maintaining compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in meeting service, sales, and profit objectives
• Supervise and direct staff activities
• Report to the General Manager
• Train employees and formulate work schedules
• Maintain customer relations and ensure positive experiences
• Manage cash control procedures and administrative reports
• Support daily operations and POS functions
• Check inventory and order supplies
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures
• Perform any additional duties as needed

Qualifications:

• At least 4 years of experience in food and beverage or related fields
• 2-year diploma in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or Hospitality

Job Details:

• Type: Full-time, Permanent
• Hourly Rate: $20.00
• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, weekends as needed
• Location: Vancouver, BC (On-site)
• Start date: As soon as possible
