Our client, an established and community focused non-profit organization, is seeking a dynamic, thoughtful, and mission-driven Executive Director to lead their next chapter! Reporting to the Board of Directors, this is a meaningful opportunity to guide a respected organization as they grow their impact across the Haldimand-Norfolk region. Candidates must have proven leadership skills as well as the ability to drive positive change within an organization. This is a hybrid position, with travel required to multiple locations throughout the region.

Responsibilities include:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the programs and services that the organization provides.
  • Work closely with the Board of Directors in developing the vision and strategic planning of the organization
  • Ensure appropriate systems and structures are in place
  • Identify and recommend additional cost-analysis, resource development and budget projections
  • Responsible for continuous improvement initiatives
  • Build partnerships with related health care agencies to ensure information flow and client needs are being met
  • Provide regular written reports on the operation of the organization to the Board of Directors, and/or to the Ministry of Health – Ontario Health Teams (OHTs)
  • Evaluate programs/services in accordance with standards/guidelines established by the Ministry of Health – Ontario Health Teams
  • Promote the development of new programs, and source employee training
Qualifications:
  • University degree in a related field or equivalent experience at asenior leadership level
  • Minimum of 10 years management experience with proven success leading teams
  • Experience working in a a non-profit environment is an asset
  • Candidatesmust have demonstrated ability in community relations and public presentations
  • Hands-on experience in financial, organizational, IT and HR management is required
  • Extensive experience managing large budgets and complex financial accounting systems is essential
  • Proven fund development and networking skills are required
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are required for success in this position
  • Candidates must thrive in a fast-paced environment, having the ability to effectively manage ever-changing priorities
  • Strong system skills including proficiency withMicrosoft Office and related accounting/payroll software systems
  • This is a hybrid position with travel to various locations in the local area - a vehicleis required for travel in order to effectively carry outday-to-day responsibilities
