Job Description
Operational Supervision:
•Supervise day-to-day activities in the cutting, deboning, and packing sections.
•Ensure processing is carried out as per product specifications (cuts, weights, labeling).
•Plan and allocate manpower and machine use to meet daily production targets.
•Monitor yield, throughput, wastage, and line efficiency, and implement corrective actions when required.
Quality & Food Safety Compliance:
•Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, SSOP, and other food safety standards.
•Coordinate with the QA team to address deviations, non-conformances, or customer complaints.
•Monitor critical control points and ensure traceability throughout the process.
•Enforce cold chain integrity and hygiene standards during handling and packaging.
People Management:
•Lead, train, and motivate processing line staff and supervisors.
•Conduct shift briefings, training, and periodic performance reviews.
•Promote a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Reporting & Coordination:
•Report daily production, yield, and downtime to the Slaughterhouse Manager.
•Coordinate with logistics, planning, and maintenance teams for smooth operations.
•Maintain records of production, maintenance, staff attendance, and incidents.
