Job Purpose

Plan, lead, organize, and drive transformation & automation projects for the timely delivery of high-quality technical solutions that drive key business strategies.

Key Results Area

1. Lead and manage a massive, enterprise-level, complex projects using industry best agile methodologies and governance to provide exceptional business value to users.
2. Define and manage a well-defined project management process and champion ongoing process improvement initiatives to implement best practices for Agile Project Management. Obtain better results of projects by favoring incremental changes, collaboration and interactive work in a sequence of sessions known as Sprints.
3. Define project scope and schedule while focusing on regular and timely delivery of value; organize and lead project status and working meetings; prepare and distribute progress reports; manage risks and issues; correct deviations from plans; and perform delivery planning for assigned projects.
4. Assess the organisation’s current resource management model and capabities while formulating a new resource management model that helps strong teams form and stay together for continued value delivery.
5. Support the product owner in managing communications with stakeholders, managing customer’s expectations for deliverables, and implementing an effective project governance system and communication strategy.
6. Build capability in the team to solve their own problems and come up with their own amazing insights and products. Assess team health, remove organisational impediments, make room for failure, and have the ability to continuously coach.
7. Manage multiple agile project teams to achieve a high level of performance and quality, holding teams accountable for their work, removing obstacles, and mentoring less experienced team members. Promote team empowerment through team-building techniques, ensuring each team member is making a meaningful contribution and fully engaged in the project.

Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Master's degree is preferable.
• Experience of designing, building and maintaining mission-critical and complex, scalable and software solutions.

Experience

• Minimum 10 years IT Experience, including 5+ years of demonstrated experience in the successful delivery of medium to large scale projects in a Project Manager role.
• From the total project manager experience, a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Agile Project Manager.
• Budget and schedule management experience.

Knowledge and Skills

• Expert in the use of standard project management tools (e.g. MS Project, MS Office, JIRA, Confluence).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (oral & written) and ability to deal with different levels of people within the organization.
• Results-oriented and structured thinking.
