Job description

Careem is building the Everything App for the greater Middle East — making it easy to move around, order food and groceries, manage payments, and more. Our purpose is simple: to simplify and improve people’s lives and build an awesome organisation that inspires.

Since 2012, Careem has enabled earnings for over 2.5 million Captains, simplified the lives of more than 70 million customers, and built a platform where the region’s best talent and entrepreneurs thrive. We operate in 70+ cities across 10 countries, from Morocco to Pakistan.

We’re now entering our next chapter — one powered by AI. We’re looking for AI talent: curious problem-solvers who know how to apply AI to build tools, automate workflows, and create real impact. Whether it’s streamlining operations, enhancing customer experience, or reimagining internal systems — we want people who can make Careem work smarter and move faster.

About the Team

You’ll join the Grocery Fulfillment team, a high-impact product group powering QUIK — Careem’s quick-commerce delivery service. This team owns the engine which ensures product availability, inventory health, and operational efficiency across dark stores and supply chain. You'll work closely with engineers, operations, and planners to tech-enable one of the most logistically complex businesses at Careem.

About the Role

As a Product Manager II, you’ll own the roadmap and execution for core replenishment and inventory orchestration. Your mission: to build a real-time, intelligent supply chain engine that maximizes availability while minimizing wastage. You’ll collaborate with planners, DC/store teams, and product ops to deliver an engine that scales.

What You’ll Do
  • Build and scale QUIK’s replenishment engine, factoring space, manpower, and order cycles
  • Increase product availability through real-time triggers, better allocation logic, and stronger forecasting
  • Reduce wastage and expired inventory with smarter clearance workflows, expiry logic, and store rebalancing
  • Build a Tower Control dashboards to improve supply chain visibility across CFR, rejections, stock‑outs, and more
  • Work closely with engineering, supply chain teams, and data to deliver impact
Supply Chain & Replenishment Strategy
  • Design and scale QUIK’s core replenishment engine.
  • Define and execute strategies to increase product availability through the implementation of real‑time triggers and advanced allocation logic.
  • Continuously evaluate and optimize supply chain capabilities to ensure the replenishment engine can scale with the growth of the "Everything App".
  • Design and execute experiments to validate hypotheses regarding new replenishment models or inventory allocation logic.
  • Develop and monitor smarter clearance workflows and expiry logic to minimize inventory wastage and expired goods.
  • Implement store rebalancing strategies to move stock efficiently across the network, reducing localized stock‑outs and overstocking.
  • Establish rigorous processes to track and improve inventory health across dark stores and the broader supply chain.
Supply Chain Visibility & Analytics
  • Build and own "Tower Control" dashboards to provide real‑time visibility into critical supply chain metrics such as CFR, rejections, and stock‑outs.
  • Partner with Data and Engineering teams to define marketplace metrics and refine models for replenishment and supply chain efficiency.
  • Use analytical insights to identify bottlenecks in the supply chain and prioritize high‑impact product enhancements.
What You’ll Need
  • 5+ years of experience, ideally in quick‑commerce, retail, or FMCG supply chain
  • Proven problem‑solving and analytical skills; comfort working with complex systems
  • Hands‑on familiarity with supply chain, planning workflows, or replenishment models
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to align cross‑functional stakeholders
  • Experience building supply chain capabilities is a plus
  • Exposure to data modeling, optimization, or planning algorithms
