We are currently seeking passionate and dynamic guest-focused Housekeeping professionals who pride themselves on delivering extraordinary customer service and providing creative solutions to our guests.
As a Housekeeping Supervisor, your responsibilities include supervising the team of Housekeeping Attendants to achieve operational objectives while ensuring hotel cleanliness and maintenance standards are met. Key responsibilities include:
- Prepare job assignments for Housekeeping Attendants
- Issue keys and supplies to Housekeeping Attendants
- Manage VIPs, Do Not Disturb, Sleep Out, Double-Lock Rooms, and take appropriate actions
- Attend daily meetings and receive special instructions
- Handle check-outs and report rooms as vacant
- Address guest special requests
- Inspect cleaned areas using checklists, ensure supplies meet standards, and report repairs
- Document found articles and hand them over to the lost and found department
- Supervise cleaning of guest rooms, corridors, and stairwells
- Train and assist Housekeeping Attendants and report performance issues
- Assist with inventory management and ensure proper handling and maintenance of equipment
Ideally, candidates should have a hospitality diploma or vocational training with prior minor supervisory experience in a hotel Housekeeping Department. Good command of written and spoken English, strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills are essential. Computer literacy and experience with Opera are advantageous.
The ideal candidate will be friendly, caring, culturally sensitive, and detail-oriented. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, with a positive attitude towards working with a multicultural team and guests, is important. Additional competencies include:
