DESCRIPTION

To help us maintain our high standards of service we are seeking an experienced and accomplished Logistics Supervisor to drive both innovation and in our busy Transportation network.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations and deputize for the Operations Manager when required.
• Prioritize and continuously improve safety at the delivery station.
• Supervise logistics assistants, coordinators, and delivery associates to ensure shipments meet and exceed operational KPIs.
• Monitor coordinator and associate performance, coach them, and partner with supporting departments to improve logistics processes.
• Communicate with delivery service providers to set expectations and raise quality standards.
• Interview candidates for associate roles.
• Brief and monitor workload of all drivers and associates; ensure administrative tasks are accurately completed.
• Measure and monitor overall workflows and daily metrics; assist the Operations Manager with trending analysis and performance reporting.
• Help with training and mentoring new associates, providing knowledge needed to carry out tasks.
• Follow up on and resolve process‑related issues as required; perform physical tasks such as pushing carts (up to 100 lb) and lifting packages (up to 15 kg).
• Work flexible shifts, including overtime, weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Collaborate with the Operations Manager to resource the function, including training needs, absences, performance management coaching, and productivity monitoring.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Make shift plan (receive/dock/stow).
• Manage associates and achieve productivity and quality.
• Implement Kaizens.
• Work on mechanisms for an overall good flow.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse operations.
• Experience in logistics.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of Microsoft Office experience.
• Age 18 or older.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with planning performance metrics and process improvement.

Additional Requirements

• Flexible work schedule/shift/work area including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Must be able to lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts up to 12 hours, and frequently push/pull, squat, bend, and reach.
• Work 40 hours/week with overtime as required.
