Your Opportunity

We are looking for a Technician to operate utility vehicles, including but not limited to petrol or diesel runway and road sweepers, trucks, loaders, litter vacuum machines, hydro-blasting machines, and access equipment. Ensure that facilities' roadways, including GSE roads, car parks, tunnels, fences, and apron areas, are maintained free of FOD and debris at all times.

The role will be based at Dubai Airports.

Key Accountabilities

• Operate utility vehicles in accordance with manufacturer instructions and company procedures.
• Maintain facilities' roadways, car parks, tunnels, fences, and apron areas free of FOD and debris.
• Keep vehicles clean and functional; report or notify supervisors of any defects or damages during the shift; ensure the road sweeper is emptied at the end of the shift; perform cleaning of the vehicle as needed.
• Adhere to all safety and security rules and regulations.
• Communicate effectively in English, both spoken and written.
• Experience in airport operations is highly desirable, with knowledge of airport safety, particularly ramp safety rules.

Specific Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, with training in a relevant field related to the work area.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Proficiency in English, with IELTS or equivalent certification.

• Valid UAE driving license (Category 4 and/or 8) and Air Side Driving Permit (ADP) Level 4.
• Training certificates for heavy equipment (e.g., sweepers, hydro-blasters).
• Experience in airfield operations, including runways, taxiways, stands, and roads.
