Job summary
A leading manufacturing and distribution company is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee operations in Blackheath, Cape Town. This crucial role involves ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, managing stock control processes, and supervising staff. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Logistics and up to 5 years of experience in the field. Strong SAP skills and proven leadership abilities are essential for success in this role.
Qualifications
- Up to 5 years’ experience in warehousing, stock control, logistics, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
- 1–2 years’ supervisory or team leader experience.
- Valid driver’s licence.
Responsibilities
- Oversee stock control including cycle counts, monthly stock takes, and variance investigations.
- Enforce FIFO principles and ensure accurate storage, coding, and scrap removal.
- Maintain data integrity on SAP and manage reporting spreadsheets.
- Ensure compliance with HSE, ISO, and company standards.
- Supervise drivers, forklift operators, and warehouse crew.

A leading manufacturer and distributor are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join their Sales and Marketing division in Blackheath, Cape Town.
This role is key to ensuring smooth warehouse operations, accurate stock control, compliance with procedures, and effective supervision of staff.
- Diploma in Warehousing / Logistics / Supply Chain / Procurement (NQF 5)
- Up to 5 years’ experience in warehousing, stock control, logistics, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment
- 1–2 years’ supervisory or team leader experience
- Strong computer literacy (MS Office and SAP/ERP systems)
- Valid driver’s licence
- Oversee stock control including cycle counts, monthly stock takes, and variance investigations
- Enforce FIFO / LOS principles and ensure accurate storage, coding, and scrap removal
- Maintain data integrity on SAP; manage credit notes, invoices, and reporting spreadsheets
- Ensure compliance with HSE, ISO, and company standards while minimising stock losses
- Represent the Company in stakeholder meetings and resolve warehousing issues quickly and professionally
- Supervise drivers, forklift operators, and warehouse crew, including performance appraisals and training
- Support budgeting, monitor costs, and implement cost-saving initiatives
- Maintain high customer service standards and resolve internal/external queries promptly
