A prominent hotel group in Gqeberha is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor responsible for managing maintenance, security, pool, and grounds teams. The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience in facilities, demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, and maintain high standards of team leadership. Relocation costs will be borne by the employee if relocating from outside the city.

Qualifications

Description

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all maintenance, security, pool and grounds issues are dealt with as well as managing a maintenance team within The Capital Hotel Group. The Maintenance Supervisor is the second in charge to the Facilities Manager and will take charge in the absence of the Facilities Manager.

• Martic
• 2 – 3 Years Facilities/ Maintenance supervisory experience required
• Hands on Problem Solving approach and the ability to remain calm under pressure
• Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently
• Ability to effectively manage, delegate and lead a team of Handymen
• Honest and trustworthy beyond approach
• Great attention to detail
• Presentable and well spoken
• Team Player who leads by example
• Daily planning and management of a maintenance team is essential
