SHEQ Manager: On‑Site Safety & Compliance Leader
Job summary
A leading workforce solutions provider in Johannesburg is seeking a SHEQ Manager for a full-time on-site role. This position entails ensuring compliance with legal SHEQ standards, managing audits, and driving corrective actions across divisions. The ideal candidate should possess over 8 years of experience in safety roles, have strong communication skills, and be knowledgeable in SHEQ legislation. This role contributes to organizational safety and operational efficiency, critical in supporting safety initiatives and compliant practices.
Qualifications
- 8+ years' experience in a safety role.
- Strong knowledge of SHEQ legislation.
- Understanding of the Mine Health and Safety Act.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with legal SHEQ requirements.
- Identify non-compliance and drive corrective actions.
- Conduct SHEQ audits and assessments.
- Manage SHEQ campaigns and train employees.
