Vacancies exist for Registered Nurse - MICU Qualified x3 based in Medical Intensive Care Unit at Life Peglerae Hospital, reporting to Unit Manager – Nqobile Sibiya. The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering high-quality care in line with company strategic objectives and applicable health and nursing legislation.

• Review and comply with internal policies and protocols
• Ensure quality management systems are followed
• Advocate for patients by motivating acuity to case management and notifying doctors of limitations
• Manage people effectively, including training and ensuring scope of practice adherence
• Control costs by managing stock and staff hours
• Maintain infection control and SHEQ standards
• Foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Ensure equipment functionality and proper record-keeping
• Provide basic and specialized nursing care, communicate with patients and families, administer medication ethically and legally
• Supervise staff and educate on equipment use

• Relevant Degree or Diploma in Nursing
• Postgraduate qualification preferred
• ICU experience essential
• Registered with SANC
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Strong customer service and organizational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to change
• Willing to work flexi-hours and call system
