Job summary
A mental health care organization located in Vereeniging, Gauteng, is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse. You will deliver quality nursing care, monitor patient health, and educate patients on medication. The ideal candidate must have a Diploma or Degree in General Nursing Science with Psychiatry and be registered with SANC. Experience in a mental health environment would be advantageous. This role offers a chance to make a significant impact in the lives of patients.
Qualifications
- Registered with SANC.
- Experience in a Mental Health environment is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, quality nursing care according to the scope of practice.
- Assess, observe, monitor and provide information about patient health.
- Provide a safe and supportive physical and psychological environment.
- Manage and educate patients regarding prescribed medication.
- Support patients with processing of therapy interventions.
- Facilitate patient compliance with therapy activities.
