A leading academic institution in Cape Town is seeking a dynamic Director of Sales to lead the expansion of a lodge portfolio across Sub-Saharan Africa. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in luxury high-end hotels reserves and lodge sales, alongside strong communication skills. This role involves launching three new lodges in the Greater Kruger National Park and requires at least 5 years in senior sales positions. An office-based position with the possibility of travel is available.

Our client based in Cape Town, CBD is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Sales to lead a lodge portfolio expansion across Sub-Saharan Africa. This role is pivotal in launching and positioningthree new lodges in the Greater Kruger National Park– including a bush lodge, a river lodge, and a hilltop tented camp – along with upcoming properties in theMaasai Mara, Serengeti, Botswana, and Zambia.
- Proven experience inluxury high-end hotels reserves and lodge saleswithinSub Saharan Africais essential.
- Diploma or Certificate in Sales & Marketing or Hotel Management
- Exceptional writing, presentation, and communication skills
- Creative thinker with a flair for original ideas and strategic execution
- Ability to work under pressure, pursue leads, and overcome obstacles
- Ability to travel
- Office based role
- Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Previous experience in a similar senior sales role with at least 5 years in senior sales positions
